Gourmet flavored coffee – which only evokes images of piping hot cup of freshly brewed coffee after dinner is served in an elite restaurant as you enjoy your crepe Suzette. Is it a propaganda trick to get to spend more in certain cafes or is there really a difference. The fact is, gourmet flavored coffees are real and not just for the elite. In fact, probably can find a gourmet flavored coffee in a lot of homes and offices.

The popularity of coffee gourmet flavored has soared. For years, gourmet coffee flavored instant coffee is only available at your local supermarket. Although very tasty, that are not as tasty as a pot of freshly brewed gourmet coffee flavor can be.

Coffee roasters realized that people like the variety and, of course, took note of the instant coffees and flavored coffee drinks and started working on making the coffee bean flavor. Other coffee roasters do not go to cafes with exotic flavors, but rather focused on the cultivation of grain and toasted each other to make a gourmet taste.

Grains grown in certain regions are considered more desirable than other regions. Think back to announcements of Juan Valdez. They were marketing the Colombian beans as a tasty and wanted more beans. The Bean and taste

Gourmet flavors can be added during the calcination process to enhance or completely alter the taste of coffee. There is a fundamental premise that the gourmet coffee roasters all follow in order of their coffee to be considered truly gourmet and that is the grain to start. No matter what additions or flavors added during roasting, beginning with an inferior bean coffee will inferior.

Although more than 25 major types of coffee beans in the world, there are two grains that are considered major players in gourmet coffees with taste, arabica and robusta grain, the grain.

The Arabica bean is used in more than 60% of all gourmet coffee production worldwide. This grain is very delicate and prone to disease, pests and diseases of the weather. These reasons alone make a more expensive grain. Arabica beans are used either as a gourmet coffee at its own base of gourmet flavored coffees. The flavor of Arabica beans depends on where it is grown.

Robusta coffee beans representing approximately 40% of coffee production in the world. Robusta beans are easier to grow making them less expensive. This does not mean they are less taste than Arabica beans. Robusta, as the name implies, have a strong dark flavor of Arabica beans and can be used to give the little gourmet flavored coffee more of a punch.

Gourmet roasters often use a mixture of grains of Arabica and Robusta coffee as the basis for its gourmet coffee flavor. Then, during the roasting process that will add improvements, such as chocolate or caramel syrup to flavor coffee. Aroma oils can also be used to flavor coffee, as well as chemical compounds that are created to mimic the flavors.

Gourmet flavored coffee that comes as naturally flavored must have the soundest basis of coffee and a subtle flavor. Flavored coffee flavor to be using a chemical process lose some of its natural features during the coffee flavor.
