How can I make paninis without a panini press?
Panini sandwiches I like, but do not want to have a specialized device such as a press Panini. What can you substitute? The waffle iron probably will not work?
I also love panini sandwiches. What I do is that I had bought a pot on sale with lines on it (looks like a grill). Then use something heavy (I use a pot with water so it has weight), put a paper towel on the sandwich and the boiler at the top. Turn around and do the same. Works great!
