Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Maker – Under a glass jar to the jar?
I bought this for a Christmas gift for my sister. Sometimes she prefers glass jug when it has only 3 cups and want to see what is left. You can not see what is left in the heat. I see no reason why you can not use. Does anyone know for sure?
She absolutely can get a glass jar to replace the thermal. In fact, I linked to the Replacement glass jar. She will have to buy this real Cuisinart replacement glass jar of the mark because it has the cover specially designed to push up the little button that allows the coffee to pour freely from the basket of beer. The only minor is that the band from the Grind & Brew comes with a thermal carafe does not have a heating plate at the bottom to keep the carafe warm. This causes no problem with making coffee or using the machine, simply means that your coffee has cooled after a while … not a big deal breaker or anything. Besides, if you buy the replacement glass jar, will well.
